Where2go.com, one of the oldest and largest e-business search engines on the web, announced today it has completed the construction and rollout of its expanded datacenter increasing its available bandwidth and capacity.

In addition to new multi-processor web and database servers, where2go has secured high capacity bandwidth connected to redundant OC48 fiber trunks.

"The continual growth in popularity of where2go.com has prompted us to upgrade our entire network." states Doug Lochner, CEO of HLI Systems, where2go.com's parent company. "In addition to new high-capacity internet feeds, we have constructed an entirely new network with new routers, switches and some pretty heavy multi-processor iron for both web and database servers."

Where2go.com is a unique search engine that categorizes only e-commerce websites, including many offering unusual, handmade, and one-of-a-kind products from around the world.

Where2go.com is widely noted for its innovative searching technology and rich-context database. Originally developed in 1994 as a technology demonstration for HLI Systems' "flexible-logic^TM" intelligent server technology, where2go.com has been a leader in cataloging the emerging world or internet enabled businesses (e-business) since going live in early 1995.

HLI Systems uses the same technology that powers where2go.com to build "intelligent systems" for public school districts as well as public and private enterprises.
